Technical translation

- Patents, data sheets, user manuals, reports, etc. I translate notably for the following sectors: oil and gas, renewables, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, logistics.

I use CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) softwares such as Trados and MemoQ to build a translation memory, in order to ensure terminological consistency of translated documents.

- Academic work, dissertations and theses

I carry out specialized translations in various other sectors: tourism (travel guides, catalogues), insurance (contracts, insurance records), cosmetics, wines and oenology, environment, finance, music, sports.

Prices

 

The rates are calculated according to the field involved, the level of technicality and complexity, the language combinations and the quantity of words of the document to be translated. There are two ways to calculate the price:

-price per source word, if the document to be translated is a txt (text) file

- price per target word, if the document to be translated is a scanned document and cannot be converted into txt format
